This class is a kick-butt, sweat
pouring, bag slamming, aggression releasing, power-punching workout
for the "bored with the gym" kick boxer deep inside us all! It
combines boxing, martial arts kicking, stretching and body
conditioning in a one-hour cardiovascular/bag training workout.
You'll be breaking a serious sweat and learning some serious self
defense without any of the serious stuff (uniforms, belts, bowing,
yelling foreign words, etc.) It's hard work, but it's the most fun
way to get in shape ever!
Most kickboxing programs are developed and taught by aerobics
instructors who put a “martial arts” spin on their classes. This
program has been developed by World Champion Martial Artist Alicia
Stewart. Her 22 years of martial arts experience, and background in
sports medicine, has prepared her to develop training programs that
help her students and herself win gold medals at the world
championships. She has applied that knowledge of success to develop
an outstanding and challenging kickboxing class.
This class is appropriate for all levels. You do not need any prior
experience to come in, and even the most developed athletes will
find it challenging…I guarantee it!!! Bring your gloves and a good
attitude!!!
